Description: We will meet in Sedbergh and ask the minibus to drive us to the far side of the Howgills so we can ascend the bridleway / Dales Highway from Bowderdale and walk across via the Calf and back down into Sedbergh. The views across the Lake District and Eden are stunning on a good day, but even in inclement weather it is a magical traverse. We will finish either at Joss Lane car park for you to pick up your car, or optionally one of the local cafes / pubs for a drink.
