Description: The Dales Way is an 80 mile long trail running from Ilkley to Bowness. This walk follows the final 9 miles of the route from Staveley.
After producing his famous seven pictorial guide books to the Lake District Fells Wainwright went on to write a further guide to the area – the “Outlying Fells of Lakeland”.
This guidebook contains some delightful hills on the edges of the Lakes and on this walk we will make short diversions from the Dales Way to take in two of them - School Knott and Brant Fell
Meeting Place: Kendal bus station, Kendal 555 bus leaves at 08:31am.
Meet at Staveley bus stop at 8:45am.
