Description: Wild & Well Hikes give you a dose of natural health and well-being goodness by truly tuning in, with all your senses, to what is around you.
The scientific research is now clear. Developing a deeper connection with nature – as opposed to just going for a walk – helps to: boost your immune system, reduce stress and anxiety, relieve depression, lower blood pressure, improve heart health, restore mental fatigue, increase creativity and productivity.
Nature truly is a miracle treatment with a transformative power to change our lives for the better.
On this swim hike, which winds its way up beside the beautiful Sour Milk Gyhll, we’ll explore the health and wellbeing benefits of being near waterfalls and the benefits of cold water swimming. (*Dipping is optional. If you just want to enjoy the hike, that is fine too!).
Meeting Place: White Moss Car Park Lower (on the left if you’re travelling north on the A591). The 555 bus stops at White Moss Common. See Start Locations.
