Walk: Cumbria Wildlife Trust Foulshaw Moss.

Distance / Ascent: 1.25 miles.

Grading: Easy - pushchairs and wheelchairs are welcome.

Description: It is a fantastic time of year to explore the boardwalks of Foulshaw Moss.  There will be plenty to see from Lizards to Osprey, from Dragonflies to Carnivorous Plants. This nature reserve is very accessible, with a flat path to most of the bird hides and no steps.  Your guide will be Danni, one of our nature reserve officers, she will tell you what’s best to look out for at this time of year and talk about our ongoing bog management and restoration.

Meeting Place: Foulshaw Moss Nature reserve car park – Foulshaw moss nature reserve is on a bus route, please use public transport or car share where possible. See Start Locations.
