Description: Wild & Well Hikes give you a dose of natural health and well-being goodness by truly tuning in, with all your senses, to what is around you.
The scientific research is now clear. Developing a deeper connection with nature – as opposed to just going for a walk – helps to: boost your immune system, reduce stress and anxiety, relieve depression, lower blood pressure, improve heart health, restore mental fatigue, increase creativity and productivity.
Nature truly is a miracle treatment with a transformative power to change our lives for the better.
On this swim hike, we’ll hike up to the beautiful mountain tarn of Hayeswater for a swim before descending to take in a circuit of stunning Brotherswater (and possible double dip). We’ll explore the health and wellbeing benefits of cold water swimming. (*Dipping is optional. If you just want to enjoy the hike, that is fine too!)
