Description: We'll take the bus from Kendal to the Derby Arms at Witherslack, then pick up a lovely footpath over Latterbarrow, and on to Yewbarrow. There'll be a steep climb up on to Whitbarrow Scar where we'll get fantastic views over Morecambe Bay and the southern lakeland fells before returning on the other side of the nature reserve. Good footpaths and only one stile.
This is a circular walk so cars can be used instead of the bus and parked on the back road near the Derby Arms.
