Description: Wild and Well Hikes give you a dose of natural health and well-being goodness by truly tuning in, with all your senses, to what is around you.
The scientific evidence is now clear. Developing a deeper connection with nature - as opposed to just going for a walk - helps to: boost your immune system, reduce stress and anxiety, relieve depression, lower blood pressure, improve heart health, restore mental fatigue, increase creativity and productivity.
Nature truly is a miracle treatment with a transformative power to change our lives for the better.
This swim hike winds it's way up the stunning Riggindale Ridge from Haweswater before dropping down to the spectacular Small Water where we'll explore the health and well being benefits of being near water as well as the benefits of cold water swimming. (*Dipping is optional. If you just want to enjoy the hike that is fine too!).
Meeting Place: Shap Memorial Hall and will sort out car sharing from there. Unfortunately no public transport is available. See Start Locations.
